This listing is for an Original 1954 Fender Precision Bass Neck. This neck was made by Fender in the USA in 1954 and is pencil dated T.G. 12-54. The T.G. stands for Tadeo Gomez who is a well known Fender builder who worked at Fender in the 1950's. The neck is in very good shape for it's age. The front of the headstock and decal appear to be original and not oversprayed. The fretboard was definitely stripped of it's original finish, most likely during a refret. The back of the neck has been oversprayed. This neck came off a 1954 Fender P-Bass and the body was refinished. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working fine. The frets are not original but appear to be still quite old and have been polished down quite a bit but still have some life in them. The neck played great when it was still on the body and didn't have any issues I noticed. The neck comes as pictured with no additional parts or string tree. There is a scratch on the front of the fretboard between the 13th & 17th fret but the fretboard is not cracked. Please look at the pictures and email with questions. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents. Thanks for looking.,,,,
