You are bidding on a
1964 Fender Showman Piggy Back Guitar AmplifierIt's pretty rare to see a black face pre CBS Showman with a black tolex tone ring cabinet.
I have seen a lot more blonde ones over the years. Looks to be mostly original except for the knobs and back plate screws, see pictures for details.
Over all it's a very clean amp, lots of headroom and very quiet.
A rare combination of a collectors grade amp with reliable playability.  All original transformers with matching date codes.
Filter caps and electrolytic caps on main board are original and in perfect working condition.
Amp must have been played regularly over the years, because it runs with almost no noise floor even at high volumes.
This is almost unheard of when the electrolytic caps are original.
We run the amp every few weeks to keep the caps fresh. Includes original 1X15 tone ring cabinet, with original JBL D130F speaker in perfect condition.
High quality modern replacement foot switch included. Tilt back legs are included in sale, but buyer will have to install them on the cabinet. Mounting hardware will have to be purchased.
Tilt back legs and tubes will be shipped in small box packed with the amplifier head.

Power tubes are Electro Harmonix and have very low hours on them. A solid deal on a great amp!Shipping is $170.00.
