Trust is built with DIRECT contact between buyer and seller.Gibson prewar cast zinc one piece flange, Doehler casting mark present along with prewar casting marks. Little to no pull. From late 30s Gibson banjo. Plating is good but shows small signs of age, pitting...nothing bad and no zinc pest signs. Underside correctly shows no plating. Can offer a $50 discount, please inquire about your needs. Large opening measures 10 15/16"Small opening measures 10 13/16"Flange is VERY round...not egged. The MOST IMPORTANT aspect of building or restoring a banjo is the manner in which the neck fits to the pot assembly, the manner in which the flange fits to the rim and the manner in which the tonering fits to the rim. If any of these are less than professional, your banjo will not sound right and a good setup will be impossible. I would LOVE to help you get your banjo project done correctly and if you are buying your parts from me, I can offer to do your NECK FITTING, TONERING FITTING and FLANGE FITTING, FREE OF CHARGE or at minimal cost.
