I’ve owned this 1954 epiphone zephyr since 1991. In all those years, I have played it a few time and admired it a lot. It’s gorgeous!.. amazing condition - especially when you consider it’s 62 years old! Outside of the (very normal) shrinkage on its binding, there are no serious issues worth mentioning. None. It looks wonderful and plays even better. It's in exactly the same condition it was when purchased from a collector in 1991… down to the twine around the pegs and the original dealer’s stickers on the headstock. How cool is that! This is a "no excuses" 62 year old guitar. As shown in these pictures, the original pickguard is missing and a replacement is not included.I’ve purchased a new Epiphone case for shipping purposes. It fits “okay”, but is not really the correct one to use for storage of this Zephyr; that’s fine, this Zephyr is too pretty to hide.
