This is a Vito/Yanagisawa Soprano saxophone from the 1970's. Back in the 1970's Yanagisawa made a very accurate copy of the Selmer Mark VI soprano saxophone - the model was the S-6. The S-6 model was also sold as a VITO stencil - the same horn under a different brand name. So this is a stenciled copy of a Mark VI soprano from the 1970's. Intonation is better than on most Mark VI sopranos from that period. Sound - warm and powerful.
This sax is keyed up to high F# and has Mark VI style palm keys.Pads are in good condition, no overhaul needed. Light, smooth, and quick action. Lacquer in in good condition. No past dents or body repairs. Neck socket insert (uppermost part of the neck, where the mouthpiece goes in) fell off once, but was soldered back in place. Yamaha 4C mouthpiece included.Watch the video for demo and feel free to ask questions. https://youtu.be/jfj2NbT6btM
Private Auction, no returns.Shipping to Austria or Germany €30,to the rest of the EU €55 Worldwide fees - upon request
