Superb resonator guitar from Hofner.. . Only selling because I am no longer playing any style of music that’s best played on a resonator.. After saying that.. This is a brilliant guitar for Jazz.. You can get a tone that surprisingly works well for that style.. Thing is I have a couple of high end Jazz guitars, so it time to let this go.Spruce top, back & sides rosewood
One piece maple neck, rosewood fretboard, nut width 44mm, 19 frets, spider resonator, maple & ebony bridge

Antique nickel hardware and vintage aged natural finish
If your in the market for a resonator guitar.. this is a great choice in many ways.. Excellent neck.. Super playability..very nice tone , especially amplified tone..typical resonator .. but with a warmth to the tone..The legendary guitarist Chet Atkins favoured a Del Vecchio resonator… I used to have one I bought in Brazil many years ago.. This Hofner has that same mellow tone just like that Del Vecchio. Eric Johnson surprise surprise has a Del Vecchio.Ok.. Getting back to the Hofner.. .. This is the Factory ‘aged’ version..as mellow in looks as it is in tone, Executed as well as a pro relic Fender.. A few marks and scuffs.. but not many and all in the right places.. Aged hardware also adds to the charm and instant ‘at home’ vibe.All the hardware and fretboard inlays are of a high standard.. Nothing to fault this guitar..As I have said.. If I were playing the right kind of music.. I would feel no reason to part with this guitar or upgrade.Comes with hard case as shown.. An excellent choice of Resonator.Cash collection always welcome..Central Birmingham.. but will of course post item if required Decent offers will be genuinely considered.
