Gorgeous circa 1920s Vega Vegaphone tenor banjo. Sounds loud and sweet. Lots of mojo, inscribed "Amo te Bud Lucille 1929", dedicated right before the Great Depression on July 16, 1929. Condition overall is good. Grover tuners. Wavery Tailpiece. No cracks, neck is straight. Some dings on headstock. Resonator may have been repaired see interior pic. MOP inlays, first fret inlay is missing some MOP. Includes original Vega hardshell case with key - fair to poor condition. Very musty and needs to be aired out. Neck approx. 16" from first to last fret. Heavy babe, weighs about 9 lbs.
