Body Style: A Style

The Gibson Master Model Mandolin Style A-5L 1998-Rare 1920s Replica that is truly breathtaking. You know what your looking at they don't come along often.   Very Limited and Signed by principle supervisor of the Gibson Factory.  Beautiful scarce example.  One front tiny edge Nick and a back side light tiny hard to see tiny ding.  A tiny hole was made I believe for the electronics. (See pictures) Few fine normal marks.  I haven't cleaned or detailed the instrument.  Will look even more amazing with the proper cleaning and buffing.  No repairs or issues at all.  The photos are part of the description so please look at all 12.     This A-5L Lloyd Loar Replica teardrop style, teardrop-shaped, fancy mandolin with f-holes and a rich sunburst glossy finish. ( no case) The interior label is signed by one of the principal supervisors at the Gibson Original Acoustic Instrument facility.   The same sort of attention to detail and elegance that goes into a Gibson. This scarce example, is festooned with gold-plated hardware including the pearloid buttoned tuners whose back plates have floral pattern raised in relief; the grained ivoroid encapsulated ebony fingerboard is extended, not one, not two, but nine partial frets resulting in a long and formidable peninsula.   The carved ebony two piece adjustable bridge is slim and graceful and the twin gold plated lifters are lithe and limber, the slide-on, gold-plated tailpiece cover appears to be hand-etched “The Gibson” with a filigree border on all four sides; just like a ‘20s mandolin the back, headplate and fingerboard are bordered in three-ply.    Its F-holes are unbound, its fingerboard is cantilevered, and the end pin is carved of actual ebony.  The spruce top is highly select, configured win a veritable medullary jubilee, while the back, sides and neck are nicely grained flame maple (the sides are especially deeply etched and multi-dimensional).  The sound of this mandolin is like the singing of an angel choir. Lots of depth and richness. What stands out for me is the quality. The Gibson Listed for $5100 now you can own it for a fraction.  Here is your chance to own one magnificent instrument.  A true investment piece.   (Please take note, due to the 4th of July holiday this item will be shipped on July 7th)
