Fully Assembled and Tested Chassis Set and Coils
for the popular DIY tube theremin designed by Mark Keppinger.
Many
builders including myself have had great success building this design.
Forget the transistor/solid state kits out there by that company that
rhymes with rogue. They're more synthesizer than theremin. Theremin
enthusiasts agree that nothing produces the original theremin sound better
than a tube burner. The chassis set consists of the oscillator chassis and the power supply/audio amplifier chassis. They are painted in the traditional flat brown that RCA used to slather on all of it's electronic chassis "back in the day" but you can have any color Rust-Olium or Krylon makes. They come fully assembled and tested with coils for the pitch and volume aerials. The Power Supply/Amplifier chassis has standard 1/4" phono jacks for pitch preview, external mute switch (i.e. a foot switch and audio out to an 8-ohm speaker. Built to the original schematics and specifications they are all hand fabricated and ready to go. Complete schematics and build info for the

Some used parts that are no longer in production ( vacuum tubes, trimmer/tuning capacitors, etc.) may be utilized in manufacture but are tested before use and guaranteed to be fully functional.
