Plays and sounds like a dream and sets up super low. The fit and finish is one of the tightest and finest I have seen. Truly up there with the rest of the high end bass makers over here and in the world for that matter.
Sago make everything by hand from scratch, their builds are completed by only a few extremely talented people down at their little Osaka factory workshop! Brilliant work.2pc Alder body - the finish is a thin nitro lacquer and it looks stunning.
Neck; Thermowood - 34" scale, shallow C grip (*this is what they describe it as, but actually I think it is shallow D). 21mm deep at 3rd fret.
Fretboard; Honduras Rosewood 22 frets with MOP inlays.
Pegs; Gotoh GB528
Bridge; Hipshot B style - light weight.
PUPs; Nordstrand NP4 / NJ4
