Lovetone Ring Stinger (Serial no: RS0511) + Bespeco VM18L expression pedalLovetone Ring Stinger ring modulation / octave fuzz pedal. I bought the pedal new from Lovetone in 2003. The pedal is all original and in ‘as new’ condition, having been extremely rarely used (less than 10 times) only in a smoke-free and pet-free studio environment, and never gigged. The pedal comes in the original packaging, complete with manual and Lovetone light jack - which allows the user to play the Ring Stinger like a theremin, without touching the pedal or requiring an input! The Ring Stinger also comes with a Bespeco VM18L expression pedal, which was the expression pedal recommended by Lovetone and has been modified by Lovetone for use with their pedals. Both pedals are fully working and there are no cosmetic blemishes or other signs of wear – the pedals really are ‘as new’!

The Lovetone Ring Stinger is possibly the world’s most unique and extreme effects pedal, and provides an extremely broad range of ring modulation effects and a fantastic octave fuzz. This pedal is more than capable of providing completely new, unique and truly bizarre sounds! Lovetone were an English company from the mid-90's to the 00's, making analogue boutique effects pedals that were capable of sounds that went far beyond the capabilities of other effects pedals yet also retained the clarity of the original source. Closer to analogue synths than typical guitar pedals, they developed a strong reputation by word of mouth and have been used by bands such as Radiohead, Blur, Mansun, Placebo and Supergrass.

For more information about the Ring Stinger see the archived Lovetone website here: And, a review in Sound On Sound magazine here: There is also a demo of a Ring Stinger pedal here: This has been one of my absolute favourite guitar pedals of all that I've owned but, after some serious thought, I've now decided to sell my electric guitar equipment, as I simply don't play the guitar enough to justify keeping it.The pedals will be well packaged and dispatched the next working day.If you have any questions, please ask! Thanks, Tim
