Sunfire was among our favorite companies back when Bob Carver was running things and this amplifier in particular, was the most powerful example we ever sold. At 400 watts per channel x 7 channels, it has enough power and dynamics to drive virtually any speaker in any size room. It also runs very cool and efficient and will rest on any shelf. From Carver's earliest days at Phase Linear, to his creation of Carver and then Sunfire, he has always blazed his own trail. Never satisfied with the status quo when it came to amplifier design, Carver always challenged the audio 'elite' with his ability to manipulate the sound of his amplifier designs to suit any tastes. There is a wealth of information available on-line on this 'Mad Genius'of the audio world and meeting Bob years ago was like meeting Henry Kloss and Paul Klipsch...a bit surreal to an audio and video enthusiast like me.The TGA-407 was the replacement for Bob's Signature Home Theater Grand series and I have been waiting for the right project to spec and install it.This amplifier has NEVER been out of the box...not even to photograph it. It still carries its original 3 year parts and labor warranty and is priced accordingly. We might even be convinced to include some great balanced cables along with the amp!As always, it will be shipped and insured FREE to the lower 48 states and International shipping is available through eBay's reliable WorldwideShipping Program at an additional charge.Thanks for stopping by... please take some time and familiarize yourself with this amp and its many applications.
