1962 Buescher Super 400 professional Bb trumpet for sale. This is a beautiful and extremely clean example of this vintage model. It’s valve plating is excellent and the horn has very good compression. The fast, short-throw valves have the original stainless steel springs and rounded-top MOP valve buttons. This trumpet has a heavy, solid feel to it and the raw brass finish reveals the excellent craftsmanship. It is a great sounding horn with a dark warm tone and projection that can reach out and touch someone when you need it to. The .462 bore and 5 inch nickel-plated bell make this a very free-blowing instrument with a really big sound. This horn is well protected in an SKB case in excellent condition. Very close inspection leads me to believe that some bell dent work and extremely professional resoldering of a couple brace spots was done. The nickel bell has some slightly dull spots that won’t polish out. Some of this has to do with heat application at brace repair points. It is very hard to see and hard to show on the pictures.
