I don't want to sell this... but I had to make an executive decision! This is one of the largest bowed psalteries you'll find today. I've owned this Omega Strings Concert Bowed Psaltery for over 10 years. I custom ordered it myself. It's a unique configuration of cherry back and sides, spruce top, rock maple pin block and very nice African Bubinga for the tuning pin veneer and sound hole cover piece. This instrument comes with everything you need to get the most potential out of the instrument. Included in this auction: two bows, rosin, custom soft case, removal note marker strip for the pins and a tuning key. If you're interested in purchasing the heavy duty camera stand that I used to mount the instrument for performance, I can post it on eBay for $40. The instrument sounds amazing and is beautifully made. The only reason I am selling it is because I can not devote the time needed to consistently perform with it. The thing is, my main instrument is piano and I also devote a lot of time playing and writing music for my 30-string harp guitar. At the end of the day, if I have to choose to practice this great bowed psaltery or my harp guitar, the harp guitar wins every time.
