Mid 70's Fender Jazz Bass. I bought this used back in 1975 from a store in Orlando. I have tried to determine the manufacture year/date, but never determined anything definitive. My best guess is 1973 - 1975, but this is just a guess. . .S/N on neck plate 607374. The chrome bridge and tailpiece are not attached, but can easily be mounted with hardware from Guitar Center.
2 months ago this bass was serviced (necked adjusted, cleaned, jack replaced, new strings) at Guitar Center in Lakeland, Fl. It does have a couple of rough spots where the finished is nicked through to the wood, that I have depicted in the photos. There is also some belt buckle wear on back side. Tuning pegs have lost their finish, so we'll just say they have a nice patina. Remember, this bass is around 40 years old so it does have cosmetic issues. If there is anything specific you need to see I can try an take a more detailed picture. Comes with Fender hardshell case in fair condition considering it's age. The latches do not work as well as they once did and the hardware is pretty tarnished, but the case is functional.
