Hello, up for auction is my beloved OB-8 with original owners manual. Turned it on the other day and one of the oscillators is slipping up a half step in pitch about 10 seconds after each time I push a program button. This is a second edition 1983 OB with factory midi in,out & thru on the back of the axe, silk screen 2nd page lettering . I've never had it serviced even though down thru the years a few issues have arisen but I have always worked around them by saving the patch. I'm 61 years old ,barely use it and now its out of tune. Time to sell to someone who will fix it and cherish it as I have.Here are its issues and the issues are in the pots or knobs not being smooth or should I say exact. Everything works but you can't get the the exact setting all the time with a few knobs ,I think the pots are worn on :1. Program vol/ balance knob2. LFO rate ( either it's slow or fast no in between) , however the other LFO rate on the mod wheel panel works great.3. A couple of #keys don't sound right away when you first turn on the beast, but after you play them a few times they work for as long as you have the OB on .4. Sometimes you have to push a switch twice to get the led to come on.5. And now one of the oscillators is slipping out of tune.I know these things are minor for this vintage piece but need mentioning.So this synth needs to go to the shop and that's why I'm selling it at a reasonable fix up price. This OB is not a dog , it's been taken care of , all original and never serviced.There is no returns on this auction because I will not have it shipped to Timbuktu and back and end up having to ship it back out. Don't mean to sound harsh. you buy it , you own it , you love it.Any questions feel free to ask, Mike
