This equipment belonged to my good friend Frank Watkins from the Death Metal band Obituary and Black Metal band Gorgoroth who passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 18 2015. He left behind a wife and 2 boys. All money from this auction goes to his family. It also includes 2 foot pedals, cables, and a Korg Toneworks DTR-2 Rack Tuner. I uploaded lots of pictures and a FaceTime screen shot of Frank playing the amp.

The 2001RB Amplifier Head is Gallien-Krueger's big gun with 2 - 500W woofer amps bridgeable to 1000W and 2 - 50W horn amps. It is capable of getting the deep, floor-shaking, warm sound that powers reggae bands. For rock players it features a special design distortion circuit that lets you quickly dial in the perfect growl and drive, and which automatically mutes the horns when the high-gain channel is activated. For funk players, its voicing filters and biamp controls let you scoop the mids and add the perfect high-end edge needed for popping. For any style of music performed on arena stages, the 2001RB is the amp of choice for top professionals.

The Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 bass cab a high-powered bass cab built to deliver silky-smooth, solid tone with less weight. This compact roadworthy, front-ported cab is loaded with four custom-designed, cast-frame 12" neodymium speakers. Neodymium speakers are lighter than traditional speakers, but deliver the same robust performance. Tuned for a consistent response from top to bottom, there is plenty of definition in the highs and mids, coupled with a fat low-end. The cabinet also features GK's bi-amp system; Speakon-style and 1/4" connectors; 1,200W power handling; rugged 11-ply poplar construction; Tolex covering; reinforced, interlocking corners; 16-gauge steel grill; a pair of 3" dolly wheels; and an easy-grip handlebar.
