1989 Kawai GS60 GS-60 Grand Piano 7' COMPLETE RESTORATION Excellent Condition
Estimated price for orientation: 15 000 $
Category: Grand and Baby Grand Pianos
Class:
Description Brand: Kawai Number of Pedals: 3 Model: GS-60 Serial Number: 1909502 Number of Keys: 88
As far as the experts are concerned, this is a fully restored
instrument. Either that, or it wasn't played much in the
last 25 years since it was built. Everything looks essentially new, including
Bridges, Pinblock, Action. Strings appear slightly aged but still in excellent
shape, as is voicing. Most recent tuning was about 3 months ago.
I am not a piano expert. My family is musically minded so we
have good instruments for the children. Work is thin right now so we're
selling luxuries like these two pianos (I also have a 1925 Steinway B 7' Grand
for $35,000, also in excellent condition).
to hear it being played.
Oops... :) that wasn't the right video. But now that I did all that work to put the link in there, maybe you like big band music played bluegrass style!
Recorded on a smartphone so audio isn't stellar, but it gives the ideaFunny
story... prior to acquiring these two pieces, my children played a
Kimball upright we got from a school. They always longed for a baby grand and
didn't even hope for a grand because I said they were too big and too
expensive. Then we moved to a larger place and one day I found a deal on these
two instruments and had them delivered together. Had we brought the Kawai in
by itself, the children would have thought it was the best thing they had ever
touched. But no... when they are in the same room together, and the player is
able to go between them instantly, even hear the tone differences side by side,
they always gravitate to the Steinway. Amazing... this delightful instrument
is ignored because we have a $40,000 Steinway in the same room!! I kid you
not.FREIGHT
COSTS: The piano can be delivered to anywhere in the US (in fact, I can
ship it anywhere in the world), but the cost is variable with location. If you
are within 150 miles of Greensburg, KY (42743) then I can arrange delivery for
$500. Beyond that distance you can work with a piano mover (we used Keyboard
Carriage out of Elizabethtown, KY) as you wish. They are very good at what
they do and make it look easy. Trust me... it's not easy, and worth paying
someone else to do :)PAYMENT:
Please don't suggest deferred payments of any kind. I can't do it. The money
I have tied up in these instruments is needed in other places right now. I can
work with you on a down payment to hold the instrument for a week or so to give
you time to arrange financing. I would much prefer a cash or wire transfer
payment but I would be willing to split the transaction costs if you would
rather use Paypal.Well, thanks for looking at our ad If you want a great
grand piano at a reasonable price, I'd like to hear from you. For that matter,
if the Steinway interests you at $35K, please don't hesitate to respond. I
need to sell them both.May I pray with you? (you can opt out from here if you'd
rather not :)
Lord, I trust you to bring the
right person to buy this piano. You know all our needs and we rejoice in your
care. I pray for this reader, and ask you to guide them and if you want them
to have this instrument, give them your peace and help them to trust your
guidance. Please Father, make this transaction clear and help us to know when
it's your will. Thank you for being Emmanuel in Jesus. We love you, and we're
so blessed to know you love us.
