Thank you for viewing my listing.*Three tone, late 50's type sunburst Strat relic. Similar in style to the two tone sunburst but with the addition of the red band. This is quite faded and muted with UV and has softened the sunburst. A very different look to the later three tone sunbursts with the more solid yellow centre.
*Two piece alder body. A lot of checking both front and back, but the pictures haven't shown it all up i'm afraid.
A very resonant and snappy body, and this might be my favourite to play out of all the ones i have at the moment.
*Allparts neck, clay dots, cellulose finish- you'll note i've left the lacquer on the back of the neck quite deliberately to mimic a refinish overspray. Sometimes i prefer the feel of the lacquer and other times not, depends on my mood! Its a larger neck than on the Fiesta Red one, but again all the edges are softened and rounded and its a nice neck to play.
*Kluson tuners.
*Aged mint green pickguard, that wouldn't show up the right colour in any pictures, hence my 'arty' outside pictures! it's a bit more yellowed in the flesh and suits the suburst really well, i just couldn't quite get it to look the colour it really is.. it's not as green as the pics might indicate.
*Tonerider pickups, nice pickups.
*Full size steel block tremolo.
Everything aged as it should be.Another lovely very convincing guitar :)I've done a lot of work on refinishing real deal vintage guitars, both fender's and gibson's and my guitars are all over the world now having been bought by players and collectors alike. Never had anything but surprise at how authentic the work is up close (unfortunately pictures never really capture the subtle details); and my work has always been compared right up there with the few people in this game that really know what they're doing.
This is a guitar that won't disappoint.Any questions feel free to ask.
