This is a beautiful mandolin built by reknowned luthier Thomas Buchanan in Cleckheaton, Yorks. It has had an LR Baggs Radius pickup (cost £170.00) professionally fitted. It looks and sounds amazing, unfortunately my hands are just too big and clumsy to play it well. It has remained in its case pretty much since I bought it (on a whim) and deserves to go to a home where it will be well played (and played well) and cherished.It is in excellent condition with no marks that I can see. You can find out more about these wonderful instruments on Thomas's website and at Mandolin Cafe, although if you are reading this then you will no doubt be aware of his reputation for a quality instrument maker.I would prefer cash on collection but will accept PayPal and would be prepared to post at cost, which with insurance will be in the region of £35. Equally I am happy for the winning bidder to arrange their own courier, to be honest I'd prefer it.If you want to try before you buy and live in the proximity of York then I'm sure we could meet up. The current list price is £749 from Thomas without a case. The plush case cost an additional £45.Any questions don't hesitate to ask.Geoff
