Thank you for taking the time to view my listing.*Two tone 50's sunburst hardtail Strat type.
50's two tone, or tobacco sunburst. Looks almost black in the pictures, but it is indeed a very dark brown busrt sprayed over a yellow stained centre giving it a very distinctive look compared to the later sunbursts. Lightly aged on the body; complete with lacquer checking and wear but not smashed to bits. A nice light two piece alder body.
*Allparts 57 neck with a fair amount of playing 'wear' but otherwise brand new in every respect. Softened on the edges and all the fret ends rounded to make it as smooth as possible. A very nice comfortable neck.
*Single ply, correct thickness pickguard and aged white covers and knobs that look like nylon rather than the more brittle whiter 'bakelite'.
*Fender stamped tailpiece.
*Alnico pickups, cloth wiring and CTS pots.
*Bone nut.
*kluson nickel tuners. This might be one of my favourites at the moment, though i do change my mind! A really great guitar to play. Looks and feels very convincing and sounds great.I've done a lot of work on refinishing real deal vintage guitars, both fender's and gibson's and my guitars are all over the world now having been bought by players and collectors alike. Never had anything but surprise at how authentic the work is up close (unfortunately pictures never really capture the subtle details); and my work has always been compared right up there with the few people in this game that really know what they're doing.
This is a guitar that won't disappoint.Any questions feel free to ask.
