Here we have a 1954 Martin D-28 in excellent condition! The back and sides are Brazilian rosewood, with a Sitka spruce top. Original ebony fretboard and bridge. Brazilian headstock veneer. Mahogany neck. Original finish. Replaced tuners. Bridge has three light cracks (one runs the length of the bridge pins, and two much smaller cracks). They shoudn't be an issue.Body is in excellent condition. There is the typical b string crack, and some wear where one's arm rests on the top (in the photos it might look like a crack, but it's not through the wood and is just wear from use). There's a repaired back crack as well. Very well done. The neck angle on this one is perfect. It has excellent playability and zero playability issues. The tone is everything you've hoped and dreamed for in a vintage Martin: loud, bassy, and responsive. I've enjoyed quite a bit of play time on this one myself because it's such a joy to play. This one is ready to go and won't need any work.Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.Feel free to call me with any questions: 435.406.9281
