These were the second model of the design, and feature some improvements over the originals. The extra engraving on these "artist" models are simply stunning. Take a look at the pics for yourself.
This horn is in terrific condition, and has just undergone a full overhaul and mechanical restoration, and the horn plays amazing! The sound will blow any horn out of the water!! Round, warm, and smooth, with a buttery subtone all the way to the low Bb. They don't make saxophones like this anymore, in sound, or beauty. For serious players or collectors.
