Here it is; the rare and elusive Epiphone Masterbilt AJ500 12 Fret Slothead RCNS with an under soundboard transducer pick-up. Solid cedar top with Indian rosewood back and sides. Natural Satin finish. 1 3/4" nut. Professional Setup. String height at the 12th fret is 3/32" with saddle room to go lower. Excellent action and playability. Excellent neck angle to saddle. Very little fretwear. Neck is straight. Strung with Elixr .10-.47 phosphor bronze nanoweb. Phenomenal sound unplugged or plugged, however; there are a few cosmetic issues. The top has a minor ding which you can see in Pic#2. There is a very small paint chip just above the nut-Pic#4. The previous owner had a religious symbol sticker on the back of the headstock, which I removed, so you can see that the guitar is not stamped "2nd" or "USED" However, it left a residue which you can see in Pic#5. In Pic#9 you can see a pin head white spot on the bottom bout which has to be in the finish because it won't come off. No cracks and no lifting of the bridge. Original polyfoam case is in excellent condition. Any questions-ask! If you know what these guitars are and you've been looking for one (probably for a long time) this is the one. This is an "05 and the wood is starting to open up and has very good volume.
