Serial number is: M 59856 which puts the manufacture date at 1955. Lacquer is original (with a dark copper-like finish). I don't see any lacquer wear on the body though the neck does show some (see photo). I'm guessing because the instrument was sitting in a closet for decades, the pads would need to be replaced and seated. Auction includes the neck strap and case. Email me questions or comments.
