Description

Here's a very nice ADR F769X-R Vocal Stresser. It's been fully recapped, refurbished, calibrated, and tested. It looks and sounds great, and has excellent cosmetics. There were several models within this range made by ADR and the differences can be confusing. The F769X-R Vocal Stresser has a 4-band cut/boost equalizer section and a "Compex" section that includes a limiter, compressor, gate, and expander. By using the mode switch in the center of the unit the EQ can be inserted before the Compex section, or after it, or it can be used separately, via a second set of XLR connectors on the rear panel. The EQ section allows 20 db of cut or boost in each band, selectable between Dip and Peak. The Compex section uses a low distortion FET, with a great deal of parametric control. The Threshold, Ratio, and Release controls are all stepped attenuators, allowing precise set up and repeatability. An owner's manual and North America type power cord are unclided.SPECIFICATIONS
