Time to clear the spare room as a bigger project is on the horizon.
Basically this is a lightweight Bottleneck 90 made of wood as opposed to metal (33 model).
This is Dobro as was, Not the Gibson Nashville copy or the licence copies.
A 1995 (Huntington Beach, California) OMI Dobro wood body 90, 9 1/2 inch cone resonator with 14 frets to the body, moon & stars Coverplate. Full neck, metal stick metal soundwell, in many ways this is a cheap way of getting a National trojan.
Currently with Daadario mediums and has a flat fingerboard. This is a loud guitar with the added warmth of being a wood body.
There is provision to install a pickup as there is a jacksocket in place although the original pickup has long since gone. If I were to keep it I would install a Krivo pickup, but your choice to do as you wish.
A National cone replaces the Dobro non spiral and a bone nut upgrading the original plastic ones that were of that period.
Guitar is in very good condition for it's age although if you look closely there are nicks & scrapes and a light finish checking but nothing that distracts from the patina and dark sunburst of that period.
Welcome to come and see for yourself.
Hard case (not a Dobro one) and is in very nice condition with low fast action, good break angle and crisp harmonics.
I have too many guitars and as much as I have mulled over keeping this one space needed to keep the peace in the household.
collection or postage at your expense .

I have used my digital calipers and at the 12th fret Bass E =3.43mm Treble E=2.78.
I play slide, lapsteel , fret simple chords & fingerstyle and this can be done with this guitar, it works in standard tuning as well as open.
Although bear in mind it will never have the action of a Taylor or Martin as a break angle is required to drive the cone.
The strings are currently medium to heavy on the Treble to hold up to bottleneck & vibrato, anyone that knows me I am no Segovia but it works for me.
