A very fine certified German cello bow made by Ludwig Christian August Bausch ca. 1840. L. Bausch was one of the greatest German bow makers.
This is quite early example. The stick is red brown pernambuco of excellent quality, round, strong with a superb sound and balance. The stick under the frog is reinforced with an original nickel silver plate to assure a long life. It is a rare example in fine state of preservation.
