A fine old French certified violin bow P.Cuniot, 1875.
A very fine French violin bow made by P.Cuniot ca. 1875, certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris. This is an excellent example from this very interesting maker. Pierre Cuniot was a fine bow maker with personality and style that is easy to recognize.
The stick is fine red brown pernambuco, round, strong, stable with a nice balance and exceptional quality sound. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The bow is in good condition, ready to play with new top quality hair, silver winding and grip. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g.
