A rare, superb, certified German cello bow made by Carl Heinrich  Knopf ca. 1860. Heinrich Knopf was one of the greatest and most interesting German bow makers. He also made some wonderful bows for Nikolai Kittel and Bausch family. This is a very special and one of the best examples in excellent state of preservation, suitable for a finest musician, including a soloist.
The stick is superb medium brown pernambuco, round, strong with a concert level sound, excellent handling and a fine balance.
The length of the stick is 70. 4 cm and the weight is 80.5 g. Please note that THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL, TOP LEVEL BOW and bid with confidence; we have sold certified bows to numerous satisfied collectors, dealers, players and soloists from worldwide.
