A very fine Italian violin made by Ettore Siega in 1934 in Venice, signed to the center of the back and carrying an original dated label. This is a beautiful example, probably made with an inspiration of Matteo Goffriller model. The instrument is in excellent condition, covered with a wonderful texture all original varnish. The length over the back is 35.4 cm.
This is a superb sounding instrument with a marvelous timbre, surprising maturity and a solo quality well balanced tone. This violin will be sold with a certificate of authenticity by J.J. Rampal.
