SUIKO-100 is an extremely rare and most strange japanese electronic musical instrument
that was originally made for japanese traditinal music circa. 1980.
It was made for the very small circle of people who were studying traditional Japanese music at the time. This at the time was a very expensive and top of the line product of SUIKO series, others being the ST-20 & ST-50 This instrument is housed in a cool brown custom suitcase like EMS synth, one side of the suitcase is a speaker so you can play without external amp or mixer, but also has audio output too. The keyboard is housed in to a metal case and design looks "similar" to the old Roland TB-303 BASSLINE Keyboard is separatable from it's case. The keyboard is specially designed for playing glissando, easily like koto (japanese harp) Various switchs and dial for special japanese tuning, sustain, octave, vibrate, bend, mono/poly switchs are available. It also has auto play/rec function that you can record and play your performance (I believe it requires a special memory card to do this) Other sounds are selectable, mainly japanese traditional instruments like shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), koto (Japanese harp) and to oboe, strings, chorus etc.. You also have drums mode full of japanese traditional drums and percussions.   Item is in fantastic condition, winning buyer will not be disappointed. It comes with original case and copy of japanese manual with english guidance (each switch names & functions etc)   NO AC adaptor including in this auction, you need DC9V 1000mA (center negative) AC adaptor to use,
but it also works with battery's that I will supply.
You are more than welcome to pickup if you do not want it shipped.
