This will be the last time this instrument if offered. I will be happy to return it to my collections for a few more years.This mandolin has an interesting story. It was bought new in 1918 and enjoyed by the owner. It was sent back to Gibson in or around 1962 for a Factory refinish. At that time Gibson stamped a serial number in the headstock that would be correct for 1962. The mandolin is too perfect to be the original finish which makes the story believable. It is a Model A-3. The paper label is gone. It has amazing sound, tone, projection and volume. It comes with it's original hardcase. This would be a great player or addition to any collection. I reserve the right to end listing at any time.
