100% original with no modifications save a VERY old pro refin
PERFECT functioning condition, no contours disturbed
Weighs only 4lbsWe're very excited about this body - a true 1959 piece of Fender TONE wood.
As light as can be, this guitar weighed under 7lbs when fully assembledThe refin is top-notch and was done VERY professionally, with the correct white undercoat and only minimal clear coat (if any at all) - no contours were disturbed.This body has the 1950's "no shoulder" control cavity route. A bit of an anomaly as this guitar had a late 1959 green guard, it makes sense as Fender shipped far less HardTail bodies than Tremolo bodies - so this one was likely manufactured in 1958 or possibly earlier. We've NEVER offered an original 1950's Strat body for this price - priced to sell and once it's gone, it's gone!
