VINTAGE 1930'S DOBRO ANGELUS MODEL 19 RESONATOR PROJECT GUITAR This is an Angelus Model 19 by Dobro, Resonator guitar.
The Dobro California production of this guitar was from 1933 through 1937.
This guitar is a project and needs work to get it back to playing shape.  The Angelus Model 19:
Birch body
3-segment f-holes in upper bouts
12 large holes in coverplate
Slotted peghead
Painted top and back edges to simulate binding
12 frets clear of body
Roundneck
Finish: Orange-to-brown sunburst
Comes with chipboard case. I do not know if the case is original to this Resonator.
The sticker on the peghead is long gone, but the outline of the sticker is the same shape as the Angelus by Dobro sticker (see photos). The are numerous scratches, missing tuning button, back is separating from the sides of the guitar, glue residue on the back of the headstock from what appears to be a sticker, neck may need to be reset for your style of play. Please look at all of the pictures to identify other things that I may have not mentioned in the description of this guitar.
