The Crystal Lyre is handmade, exclusively in Canada, at Mine Cristal, Bonsecours, Quebec. Mine Cristal gives a one-year guarantee on this instrument and shipping is insured. I am a distributor and selling them out of Utah. Inspired by the Greek Lyre, Gaudry Normand, inventor and designer of the Crystal Harp, presents his latest creation: the Crystal Lyre™. Elegant and luminously transparent, this unique instrument has refined curves and a slim profile. The 8 tubes are made of pure quartz and have a similar sound to crystal bowls. Each tube is a note of the C major scale and stays permanently in tune. Keys, strings and metal pins create the ideal angles to hold and suspend the tubes. It measures 21 inches high (53 cm) and weighs less than 4.4 pounds (two kilograms). It comes with a thick padded blue travel bag and foam fittings to safely secure the Lyre during transit as well as two mallets, and a sturdy acrylic stand as seen in the photo.
