Whoa. This is an amazing kit and a rare beast. Mid 70s 3-ply maple Pro Beat configuration with an extra bass drum, with close serial numbers so we know they were all ordered as a set.Incredibly, the two bass drums have CONSECUTIVE serial numbers, 1050821 and 1050822.Sizes are:14x24 105082114x24 10508229x13 105080710x14 105089116x16 104877016x18 1050965All drums have 3 ply maple shells with clear interiors and maple re-rings. Comes with all original 70s triple flanged hoops, original lugs, original tension rods, original short floor tom legs, original tom mounts and screws, and one original bass drum mounted tom holder. The only hardware that is not original are the bass drum spurs - both sets are modern replicas of the original "skinny" spurs that are identical to the originals.These drums are CLEAN. They have been thoroughly cleaned up and polished. Hoops have been sanded and repainted. Lugs and some other metal parts have typical pitting, but there's no rust, no flaking, and everything is in good shape otherwise.PLEASE NOTE: all drums show spots of discoloration in the wrap. The spots appear gray, and these are in the plastic and cannot be cleaned any way that I know of. Under most lighting it's not apparent unless you really look. The 14" tom has it the worst - most of the wrap is discolored. I've tried to highlight this in photos, but you can also see that the kit looks stunning even with this issue. However, please be aware that this is not a collector grade kit.A few of the seams are lifting slightly, which can be easily fixed if so desired. The bottom edge of the 18" tom was re-cut to original specs by Pro Drum shop, Hollywood CA.The drums tune up very nicely and sound great. The early 70s shells are of course the most coveted Ludwig shells. This kit is a great combination of perfect rock sizes and a great sparkle finish. Don't pass this up.DW tripod not included.
