It's a 1968 ludwig 20" kick with Keystone badge, white interior, and one of the rarest Ludwig finishes: Mod Orange. The date stamp from 1968 is present. Serial number is 582892. The edges are perfect. The hardware is in excellent condition. A few lugs have scratches, but none are pitted. T-rods and claws have no rust or pitting. Spurs have the original grommets that keep them in place in the mounts. Mounts have light pitting, spurs are excellent. Hoops are original and have been repainted recently. The drum has been fitted with a brand new Remo Ambassador front head and a brand new Remo Powerstroke 3 batter. The shell has a few light scratches, especially the tom rash which I detailed in the photos. The drum was fitted with a Ludwig Standard tom mount, probably in the early 70s. The original holes for the rail consolette have been plugged with screws. This drum tunes up easily and sounds excellent.
This is a great opportunity to own one of the rarest 1960s Ludwig drums, or add to your Mod Orange set.
