This 1961- 6G9-B Tremolux irreplaceable amp is a Unique Treasure. This offer is from the original owner/musician. It is the "Most rare amp Fender ever made",(Wikipedia Encyclopedia). There were only about 200 made and VERY FEW with the 2 10" speakers and Oxford Blood Grill Cloth. The amp is totally original except for the following; 1 speaker, all tubes, capacitor/cap, 1 speaker cabinet handle (replaced with exact duplicate), the power cord was replaced with a modern 3 prong ground cord and 4 screws were replaced on the back of the upper cabinet. It sounds the same as it did back in 1961.There are no rips or burns on this amp. The Tolex covering is in excellent condition even after 55 years. It was painstakingly taken care. The amp was used on the following records; Misery, I'm the Man, So Fine and Delsina which were all recorded by the "Dynamics".Good bye Bo, Happy Hours, Tossing & Turning, Arabia and Don't You Realize were recorded by the "Royal Playboys".In addition to recording it was used to play with the following artists; Stevie Wonder (he was just 13 years of age and started promoting his1st., hit "Finger Tips"), Chuck Berry at the famous Walled Lake Casino, Frankie Valley and the 4 Seasons. This is just a partial list to see more look up Michigan Rock and Roll Legends. This amp as I stated earlier was used in the production/recording of the song "Misery". This song was plagiarized by the "WHO", and introduced as their 1st., record ZOOT SUIT. The History of this amp defines it, "IN A CLASS BY ITSELF".
